moto2 worldchampion races 2018
The two young riders of the Forward Racing Team took to the wet track of the Spanish circuit for the last 25 laps of the season.

Isaac Vinalis completed his last race of the year closing in sixteenth position, tightening his teeth until the last lap, for the strong and persistent shoulder pain increased significantly towards the end of the race.

By his side the German Lakas Tulovic showed great willpower on the 4005 M of Spanish Tarmac, interpreting the race with determination and fighting until the last corner, despite being forced to lose a lap, returning to the box to change the visor of the helmet that had clouded.

The Forward Racing Team thanks all the friends, guests and sponsors who participated in the Grand Prix and have accompanied the team during this complex season. Good luck to both riders for their future. From tomorrow it will already be time to think about the 2019 season: The team will start in Jerez where from 23 to 25 November the 2019 Moto2 Winter Tests will be held.

Giovanni Cuzari - Team owner:
“A season-end that leaves mixed emotions. We’re happy because both of our guys have completed a complex race. Sorry for Lukas who was forced back into the box because of the tarnished visor, to admire the willpower and passion that drove him back on track. Also for Isaac it was an uphill race, fatigued by shoulder pain. Today we say goodbye to a complex and difficult season, made up of ups and downs, full of bad luck and unforeseen events. We thank Stefano Manzi, Eric Granado, who with dedication accompanied us in the first part of the season, Isaac Vinales, Topan Sucipto, the Indonesian rider who was with us in Malaysia and Lukas Tulovic who reached us this weekend. Closed the door of 2018 we look forward to 2019, and we think about next week, when we will be on track in Jerez with the F2 MV Agusta Reparto Corse”.
