RIDERNEWS
Both Wilvo Nestaan JM Racing KTM riders were battling for the win in the qualifying heat. After a strong ride from both riders they finished in second and third position respectively. These results gave the riders a lot of confidence for race day on Monday.

The first moto started with some bad luck for Romain because he crashed in the start and had to come back from last position. On the super fast track of Valkenswaard it was difficult to overtake. Romain tried everything he could but crashed another three times and finally finished the race just outside of the points in 21st position. Jake took a much better start and came out of the first lap in seventh position. In the first part of the race he worked himself up into fourth position. The third place rider was already too far gone so Jake settled for fourth position and kept his chances for an overall podium finish open.

In the second moto both riders took a good start and were riding inside of the top five during the first lap. In the beginning of the race Jake moved up into second position and was riding in this position for a long time. In the closing stages of the race he got passed by Jeffrey Herlings and finished the race in third position. Romain had a better rhythm in the second moto and was riding in fourth position in the first half of the race. In the middle of the race he dropped back to fifth position. The gap with the fourth place rider was just a little bit too big so Romain had to be satisfied with fifth position.

Jake finished in third position overall and has moved up to ninth position in the championship. Despite his 0 score in the first moto Romain still finished in tenth position overall and is in third position in the championship. In two weeks time the series will continue in Arco di Trento, Italy.

Stephanie Stoutjesdijk managed to score a point in the first round of the Women World Championship Series in Valkenswaard. In the first moto she scored this point with a twentieth position. In the second moto she came home in 24th position.
